Restless Royals: Hillary, Helen, Harry & Forrest

The Queen is not amused. Nor is the King, for that matter. And the Prince has had it up to here. Royals on pins and needles right now: Hillary Clinton, Helen Mirren, Prince Harry and Forrest Whitaker. Here's what has them anxious...

Pictured left in photo below, mogul David Geffen, a member of Hollywood's powerful DreamWorks trio, launched WMD at Senator Clinton. The upset: Geffen shared with Maureen Dowd of the NY Times his harsh opinions of the Clintons. One of many Geffen quotes:

David Geffen, left, starts a war of words between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama

"Not since the Vietnam War has there been this level of disappointment in the
behavior of America throughout the world, and I don't think that another
incredibly polarizing figure, no matter how smart she is and no matter how
ambitious she is -- and God knows, is there anybody more ambitious than
Hillary Clinton? -- can bring the country together. [...]"

The folks at HRClinton headquarters are outraged. Usually cool as the queen, the former First Lady's nerves were frayed by "Gay Mafia" don David Geffen. But rather than strike out at Geffen, who helped the Clintons raise millions in the past, Clinton challenged Illinois knight Barack Obama -- Geffen's new political favorite. However, certain pundits believe Geffen's attacking Hillary only hurts Obama.

Helen Mirren as QEII in 'The Queen'
The Academy this weekend may bow down to two nominees who played royalty on the silver screen. Helen Mirren's brilliant portrayal of controversial Queen Elizabeth II around the time of Princess Diana's death deserves the Oscar for Best Actress.

Her unlikely Oscar bed fellow may be actor Forrest Whitaker, who sublimely channelled Ugandan dictator Idi Amin in "The Last King of Scotland." Whitaker's been plugging away in Hollywood for years. Fingers are crossed for him to win the statue for Best Actor.

Forrest Whitaker in Last King of Scotland
Last but not least, Britain's Prince Harry is mad as hell; he's not going to take it any more.

England's Prince Harry wants to serve in Iraq
Third in line to ascend to the throne, young Harry's ready to go to war -- in Iraq. Most interesting, dirty Harry's announcement about wanting to serve his country comes on the heels of Prime Minister Tony Blair dropping a bomb: England will soon start bringing home its troops. We wish Harry well.

I really don't see how Geffen's comments did any damage to Obama. I think that is wishful thinking on somebody's part. To me, this shows how unreasonable Hillary is. Hillary can be endorsed by someone that thinks Barack will bring down the Democratic Party, but Obama can't be endorsed by someone that doesn't like her. This shows the hypocrisy in America. And it shows what links Hillary will go to discredit Obama. It is good he showed the world that he can’t be punked out by the Clinton’s. The woman is running scared.

So there really is something called 'gay mafia'? What do they do? Blow-dry their enemies to death?
